Thanks Nick. If I’m trying to reach people in Africa that speak angling is there another way to reach people with the Algorithm outside of thumbnails, title, description and tags. I see in my Edit studio that allows you to add different countries.

Also, Could you set things up via location? I also see where it says location. I would like to target those areas in the US where my viewers are like DC. Does that even matter? I guess it’s there it won’t hurt.

That’s what hard about it is, how to stay in your niche. I did it for vlogmas and heaven and all the angels know I will Never ever do Vlogmas again 😅

I did it with videos for 25 days of Christmas and i saw the videos start cannibalizing each other. In the end it was not worth it. Won't be doing it again for my established channel. For my smaller channels I might do it, just to get a lot of content out to get to the monetization numbers.

Hi, Nick! In 4:51, the closed captions says "you just have the thing to wear". I think that the last word is "where" and not "wear". I'm not a native English speaker, so sorry if it is my mistake. Usually I don't watch your content with the subs, but I saw it and I thought it would be nice to tell you. In cases like that is it better to say to you in the comments section or better more privately in some other place?

I did something like that a while back, but it was part of a series and it ended up being beneficial for me as people would watch every video in the play list.

Other wise, I find myself spending more time per video is much more effective.

Not really sure why but you remind me of Walter White from Breaking Bad 😁.

Word thanks Nick. I noticed the background music in the video and it got me thinking that it may be helpful to try something like that in my own videos.

As a creator it's a challenge just to do one quality music video a week that meets my standards.
As a viewer/subscriber I tend to miss a lot of other channel's content that do upload daily because I'm not on YouTube on those designated days or times.
I can see how it would work for some people though, primarily vloggers and/or full time YouTubers.

I started out uploading 2 videos a day. Now I am uploading a video everyday. 2 away from my 100th video. I always feel like your talking right to me Nick! 🤣 That's why I'm subscribed! 👋😁

Nick, great job as always, I’ve been uploading 5 times a week. As a new tuber, I’m averaging 6 subs a day. Is this a decent trend? Thanks for the insight

I’d love to give this a try, however I don’t want to bombard my audience 😂

I know I said this on twitter in reply to your post there, but we stopped doing Vlogmas for many of the reasons you mentioned. Instead we stick to our weekly (or sometimes twice weekly) schedule and for the month of December we make each of our videos have a Christmas theme, but still focused on our niche and similar content to what we normally put out. Also, "vlogmas" content isn't typically evergreen content. A lot of our other content is evergreen, so that's another reason skipping vlogmas is good for our channel. The videos I put out about things to do around Christmas in Myrtle Beach are evergreen and can be watched year after year when people plan a trip to Myrtle Beach during the holidays.

I was going to try it but didn’t have the stamina for Video Everyday in April.

It does for me have an advantage in expensing my catalog of evergreen content but I just didn’t have the physical energy to do it to my standards.

Damn that’s tough! Posting EVERYDAY on YouTube! Your quality might take a hit…which it did for me back in August 2020 but you learn lot by posting daily! Every insightful video Nick!

Quality VS Quantity and maintaining quality control is a huge challenge. I was uploading 7 days a week from December 2020 to March 2021. I just switched to a heavier emphasis on Quality (my most recent video took 40 hours to create ) and will be comparing results.

I try to do daily videos in general because the videogame industry does not have a lack of options in terms of content to provide. Sticking to a process when making videos is allowing me to (hopefully) improve my content while still doing daily videos. Plus, I get to play more games! Not a bad deal!

Thanks for mentioning the stress impact of putting unecessary demands on ourselves as creators. Mental health effects of self-imposed demands is a real thing and should be part of our decision equation. Kudos!

I like when TJ does vlogmas. I wish he uploaded every day but it's a bit too much and I understand. I started uploading at 7pm or 8pm at night. Due to people are done with their day.
