I am still trying to figure out where the white desk in the background can be purchased. Can someone send me the link??? I am so in love with that white desk.

These were some fantastic tips. I had someone tell me to stop staring into the camera and treat it like a person. I think that was one of the best tips I'd heard in a while and it made me relax into my subject more

Love these tips. It can be so hard to just sit there and talk and what I notice is the first 15 minutes of me trying to talk is a disaster but after that I can just go with the flow muchhh better. Practice is definitely key as well ๐Ÿ’œ

Funny about personalities, many of us act different around parents, friends and work where you are supposed to be professional.ย
I used to work on airplanes me and and fellow mechanics and technicians we talked to the planes when we worked on them especially if we had a part that was hard to remove or install ๐Ÿ˜†

These are great tips. We also recommend getting a teleprompter. Maybe you're ok with being in front of the camera but you're not good at riffing or your words get jumbled. We started to write full scripts and would read that. All you need is a simple slanted piece of glass, and an iPad running a teleprompter app and you're good! Once you have that nailed down, transition your scripts into bullet points so you can practice your riffing, or "off the cuff" talking to the camera. And then eventually you'll be able to take all that away and just straight up talk to the camera.

Great video as always. Any advice on what to do with old talking head footage? Do you have a video on whether to save old talking head video footage or should I delete and opening SSD space? Please help.

Oh man I want to do YouTube SO bad but itโ€™s the hardest thing for me to see my face and hear my voice on camera, so Iโ€™m just making vids without interacting ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Awesome tips. I especially struggled with this in the beginning. The more time I'm in front of the camera, the more comfortable I get.

I've done acting for screen, TV and stage as well as voiceovers for over 10yrs before I started YouTube and I can tell you none of that helped me be more comfortable one on one with the camera. After a year and a half it's getting much easier but it's still a challenge but it gets better with time. Thanks Nolan, all good tips

Iโ€™m very shy & an introvert, but Iโ€™d say the first tip is the most helpful. Just finished my 10th video & after 2 months, you can see an improvement of my confidence. Iโ€™m definitely more comfortable filming myself lol. All glory to God! ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ˜…

Looking at the camera helps build a connection with the audience and makes it seem like you're actually talking to them.
